Hindustan Motors (HM), the Indian automobile manufacturer has opened a new Mitsubishi showroom in the city of Hyderabad. The new showroom is a Mitsubishi authorized 3S (sales, service and spares) dealership and will showcase Mitsubishi’s car models, namely the Pajero Sport SUV, the Montero SUV and the Outlander SUV.
The total count of the global brand’s dealerships in India now stands at 42.
The opening of the new showroom is in line with the carmaker’s expansion plans for the Indian auto market. The new facility is equipped with 12 bays and is capable of servicing 25 cars per day. The showroom also has a separate section for spare parts business.
The Japanese automaker Mitsubishi entered the Indian market in 1998 and launched its products through its association with Hindustan Motors. Currently, the joint venture HM-Mitsubishi is continuing to operate and is looking to expand its presence in India.
