Italian supercar maker Lamborghini is planning to add an ‘everyday’ model to its existing worldwide line-up. Lamborghini anticipates the revival and return of the global luxury super sports car market to new record levels as previously witnessed in 2007 by 2013-2014. Stephan Winkelmann, Chief Executive of Lamborghini quoted “We are going to have a third model. It has to be an everyday car. We want to have a car which is able to be used on a daily basis. “
Winkelmann added the company had not yet decided which segment the car will belong to, but commented that once the decision is made, the car will be on the road four years subsequent to the decision. He further added the company will not work in partnership on the new model.
