Chevrolet Enjoy Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV), the car model developed by General Motors India in collaboration with Shanghai Industry Automotive Corporation (SAIC) will be launched in India on May 9, 2013. The MPV which is to be launched with 6 variants and both diesel and petrol options will compete directly with the likes of the Ertiga by Maruti Suzuki and the Evalia by Nissan.
The petrol version of the MPV will sport a 1.4-litre S-TEC II engine which offers 104PS of power and 131Nm of torque while the diesel version of the new car model will house a 1.3-litre diesel motor engine offering 76 bhp of power.
The new Enjoy MPV will also have the option of a 7-seater or an 8-seater which will have different seat arrangements. The 7-seater will have captain seats in the first and second rows and a bench to seat three persons in the third row, while the 8-seater will have captain seats in only the first row and the second and third rows will have benches.
