German automobile manufacturer BMW has launched its leasing operations by the name BMW Lease under the financial services division of the company. According to Mr. Andreas Schaaf BMW India President, BMW Lease will cater to both individuals and corporate customers. As part of the first phase of the launch, the BMW Lease will open offices in six states in India and will expand gradually to other dealerships of BMW.
The finance lease arrangement entails the transfer of all risks and rewards included in ownership to the customer. After the lease tenure ends, the option to retain the vehicle is offered to the customer at a price lower than the current market price of the car.
BMW Lease provides various benefits to the customers such as customized financing options along with flexible lease tenures and tax benefits, states Mr. Dan DeChristopher BMW India Financial Services Managing Director and CEO.
