BMW India, is all set to launch the crossover version of sports utility vehicle X3 in India. It is scheduled to be launched in the Indian market on 25th of August, 2011. the BMW X3 series will be enabled to compete more promptly with the rivals like Audi Q5 and Mercedes Benz GLK Class. The new BMW X3 crossover is expected price tag of Rs 42.2 lakhs.
The new BMW X3 will come with petrol engine which is powered by a 2.5L, xDrive25i engine that generate a peak power of 206Hp along with a peak torque of 246Nm. And it will take just 10 seconds to break the speed barrier of 100 km/h and can reach a top speed of 210 km/h.
The diesel variant of BMW X3 will be powered by 2.0-litre, Turbo xDrive20d engine that generating a maximum power of 176Hp along with a maximum torque of 350Nm. And this diesel version take 10 seconds to break the speed barrier of 100 km/h, the top speed of is 200 km/h.
