Premium car maker, Audi India targets 1,200 cars to be sold by the year end, Audi saw a growth of 80 percent in the first quarter of 2008 by selling 220 units in India
Audi currently sells its sedan A4, A6 and A8 along with its SUV Q7.
The company will sell the assembled A4 in India in July. The company is also considering bringing the Q5, smaller version of Q7 to India but no time period is fixed
Audi also plans to open showrooms in Ludhiana, Chennai, Kolkatta, Cochin and Ahmedabad.
