1935 Duesenberg SJ Short-Wheelbase Roadster
The famous Duesenberg SJ Short-Wheelbase Roadster, known as the SJJ, had a beautiful pedigree. The short wheel base allowed for better balance and created the sporty look. With its supercharged engine, the SJJ could deliver 400hp. This made the SJJ the dream car of the 1930s, however, only two were produced.
1935 Auburn 851 Speedster
The Auburn 851 Speedster was designed and built by Gordon Buehrig who created this masterpiece on a very cheap budget. It featured a supercharged straight-8 and a breathtaking design with spectacular pontoon fenders, a fierce new grille, eye-catching exhaust pipes and a new boat-tail design. It sold for $2,245, making it one of the most desired cars if 1935.
1953 Buick Skylark
The Buick Skylark was designed in 1953 by general motors. The luxury 4-seat convertible was the idea of design chief Harley Earl. The elegant Skylark sat four inches lower than previous Buicks, allowing for a cool and sporty look. The Buick Skylark featured a v8 engine and electronic features, both of which were a first in Buick vehicles. The car had a price tag of $5,000 and is now a timeless classic.
1957 Chrysler 300C
The iconic Chrysler 300C stunned the world with its prominent fins and stunning grille. The 1957 Chrysler 300C was simple yet effective in an era where three-toned paint ruled the car industry. This ultimately set the way for new and improved styling within the American car industry due to its simplistic monotone look, which is now favoured with classic car collectors.
