    Hyundai launches new i20 variants

    Hyundai i20Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) launched two new variants of the i20 this week, the i20 diesel and the i20 automatic. The diesel version of the car comes with a 1.4 litre CRDi engine which gives a maximum power output of 90PS@4000rpm. It will be available in three variants – the Magna, the Asta and the Asta (O). The automatic version of the car comes with a 1.4 litre, 16 valve Gamma petrol engine. HMIL Managing Director H S Lheem said at the launch that this was the first time in the country that a compact hatchback was being offered with automatic transmission. Both the new variants not only offer higher fuel efficiency but also boast of superior technology and best-in-class performance.
