Fiat India, the Indian arm of the Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat has launched the new Absolute edition of the Linea sedan and the Punto hatchback car model in India. The new Absolute edition cars feature new gadgets and styling and are expected by the carmaker to boost sales amid slowdown in the auto industry.
The Absolute edition of the Linea and the Punto are offered with a customized accessory pack to provide additional value to the car buyers. The automaker aims to offer exclusivity and utility to customers. The accessory pack can also be availed by the existing car owners for Rs 25,000.
The Italian automobile manufacturer is attempting to raise customer sentiments with new features and free accessories along with its car products to bring about an increase in sales during this festival season which so far has witnessed flat sales across the industry.
The features in the Absolute editions include a touch screen GPS navigator with 3G tablet and smartphone Android functionality and reverse parking sensors. The exteriors include boot chrome strip and Absolute branding.
