The German automaker Volkswagen is expected to showcase its ‘’ Think Blue. Drive Blue.” theme based cars at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The focus of the theme is the development of cars that are more fuel efficient as well as environment friendly. Among the cars to be showcased will also be the 21st century Beetle, the third generation of the car model by the company.
The “Think Blue” campaign was launched along with introduction of the Passat by Volkswagen in India in 2011. Now the company is preparing to initiate the second phase of the campaign on December 15, 2011 as a prelude to the Auto Expo in January 2012. Currently, Volkswagen boasts of a wide model range of cars across more than 150 countries. In India, it sells the Polo, the Vento, the Jetta, the Passat, the New Beetle, the Touareg and the Phaeton.
