    Hyundai cuts prices, offers freebies to increase sales

    In an attempt to counter receding sales, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is offering free insurance, exchange bonuses and free car accessories on the purchase of all its car models – the Santro (GS/GLS/Non-AC), the i10 (all variants), the Getz (Petrol), the Accent (GLE) and the Verna (Petrol and Diesel). The Santro GL (Solid) is being sold at a special price of Rs.299,000, while those buying the Santro Non AC, Santro GLS or the i10 are eligible to get free insurance as well as car accessories worth Rs.7,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.5,000 respectively. According to company officials, the Accent will be cheaper by Rs.7,200 and the Verna by Rs.24,000.
