Picking up on the hot trail of crossovers and mini SUVs, Suzuki just revealed a concept in Frankfurt and we think this will definitely make its way to India sometime in the coming years. Known as the iV-4 concept, it does looks like quite aggressive, but it’s just a concept and a production ready version might look much different and practical.
According to the Japanese manufacturer the production model based on the iV-4 aims to be an SUV for the present day and so it will be light in weight and boasting among the lowest CO2 emissions in its class. And besides being Eco-friendly, there will be a four-wheel drive model that will come equipped with ALLGRIP, the next generation of 4WD technology, in order to deliver the powerful drive the driver expects of an SUV. It will therefore offer a combination of design and off-road performance that goes beyond a typical city SUV. Suzuki will start launching the production model, based on this iV-4 concept model, at Magyar Suzuki in 2015 and will be releasing it in Europe. Soon thereafter you can expect the car to make its way to India – or so we hope.
