Volkswagen India has rolled-out a special Indian Premier League (IPL) edition of its entry level sedan “Vento” in the Indian market. The 1.6-litre petrol engine IPL variant featured with IPL logo in the boot and seats and an exciting price tag of Rs. 7.24-lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), about Rs. 25,000 more than the existing base variant of the Vento. This new special editing Vento will be available for sale at all Volkswagen dealerships across the country.
Mr. Neeraj Garg, the director of Volkswagen India’s, said, “The Volkswagen Vento was specially designed for the Indian customer & has become very popular since its launch last September.” He added, “The Vento IPL edition adds to our existing line-up as we continue to strive to give our customers innovations and at the same time value for money in our products.”
Volkswagen has been nominated as the official partner for the Fourth and fifth season of the high-profile IPL cricket tournament. “IPL stands for the people’s game in India and what better way to associate our brand which literally means people’s car,” Mr. Garg added.
