Toyota Motor India has launched the updated version of its new Toyota Camry Hybrid 2017 sedan for Indian market with some cosmetic changes at priced Rs. 31.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Also the company has increased its prices by upto Rs. 1 lakh compared to the previous version of 2016 model. Company has also re-launched the fourth-generation of Prius in India and the all-new Toyota Prius & new Camry Hybrid are powered by the most advanced & eco-friendly Hybrid Synergy Drive. So this post is only for new Camry Hybrid and I will write about new Prius in my next post.
The Camry Hybrid is India’s first strong luxury hybrid and also being the first and the only hybrid model to be manufactured in India, which is company’s advanced and eco- friendly Hybrid Synergy Drive technology.

The new Camry Hybrid is powered by the same 2.5 litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor that produces 205 PS of power – 160 PS from the petrol and 45 PS from the electric motor. This advanced hybrid technology offers a ARAI certified mileage of 19.16 kmpl. It is equipped with Electronically- Controlled Continuously Variable (CVT) transmission producing a highly responsive performance and also reducing fuel consumption.
