Simple Energy has launched an updated version of its Simple One electric scooter. The previous range of the Simple One scooter was 212 km, while the updated model offers a range of 248 km on a full charge. After the upgrade, the ex-showroom price of the scooter is Rs 1.66 lakh.

Several software changes have been made in the updated model of the scooter. These changes include app integration, navigation, updated ride mode, park assist, OTA update, regenerative braking, trip history, customizable dash theme, find my vehicle feature, and auto-brightness. Moreover, it also has features like rapid brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system, and USB charging port.
The Simple One Gen 1.5 is now available at Simple Energy dealerships. The Simple One Gen-1.5 has a 750W charger. The electric scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. At the same time, the scooter now also has a Park Assist feature that makes both forward and rear movements. Apart from this, the scooter also has more than 30 liters of under-seat storage.
What is the company’s plan?
Simple Energy now has 10 stores in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag and Kochi. The company plans to expand to 23 states by FY26 with 150 new stores and 200 service centers.
