Maruti Suzuki Wagon R’s Think Big Challenge is a rare platform to nurture and assist future entrepreneurs. The Think Big Challenge 2, for this year received business ideas from over 18,500 contestants. A total of 19 regional finalists were then shortlisted to compete for the top four slots at the national level. The contestants were tested on their business ideas, entrepreneurial expertise and their courage to implement a successful business venture. The deciding factor of this challenge is to design a feasible and workable business idea that upholds the ‘Think Big’ line of thought.
This year’s winner was Aparna Bhatnagar, an IIM graduate, whose concept of “Green and Good” online store made her the contest winner. Her business idea is based on the lines of sourcing and retailing eco-friendly items from artisans across the country, and she has already successfully put her business idea into practice. As the winner of the contest, Aparna received prize money of Rs. 10 lakh, a brand new Wagon R and venture capital funding for her project.
