    Volvo V40

The New Year has begun and we can look ahead to some wonderful new car launches that will grace our shores yet again. The growing Indian car market will get some great additions and the middle class car segment looks as if it will receive the most introductions. Premium hatchbacks, mini SUVs and MPVs is what we can hope to add to our margin for choice. These are some of the most interesting cars that we can hope to see on Indian roads in 2013.

    Volvo V40

This luxury and premium hatch will compete with the recently launched Mercedes B Class and will cost somewhere around Rs 25 lakh. The car will most likely feature a high-performance turbocharged engine in either petrol or diesel.

    BMW 1 Series

Honda will finally enter the entry level sedan segment with the Amaze. The car is based on the Brio and for the first time Honda will introduce a diesel engine in the form of a 1.5 litre i-DTEC. We will also be seeing some very interesting products from Ford, Peugeot, Maruti Suzuki and of course the newest OEM to enter India is Chrysler who will launch the Jeep brand.
