Volkswagen India has announced that it will be launching new variants of its models the Vento and the Polo in the month of October 2011 before the beginning of the festive season. Mr. Neeraj Garg, Member of the Board and Director, Passenger Car Sales, Volkswagen India, stated that the new variants will be launched in an attempt to bring freshness to the products for the festive season.
According to Mr. Garg, the new variants named as the Polo Breeze and the Vento Breeze will help cater to the demand in the festive season, traditionally higher than the rest of the year. The company also hopes to consolidate its product portfolio in the Indian market. The company has already launched new variants of the Jetta and the Passat with upgraded features and significant additions.
