• 55% growth in sales in February 2011, as compared to the same month last year
• A jump of 54% in cumulative sales for January-February 2011 over the same period last year
• Attributed largely to sales of the Etios with 2786 units
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has registered a growth of 55% in sales in Feb 2011, compared to the corresponding period last year. It sold 9,308 units in Feb 2011 against 5,993 units in Feb last year.
Cumulative sales for the period January to Feb 2011 stands at 18,509 units as compared to 11,982 units last year, recording an increase of 54%.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, TKM said, “We are very happy with the growth registered this month. This is largely driven by the sale of Etios with 2786 units. We have sold 4844 units since its launch in Dec 2010 “
