To offer better service to its customers, Skoda Auto India, the fully owned subsidiary of Skoda Auto a.s. Czech Republic, has announced a 24×7 road side assistance program – Skoda Assistance Non Stop HELP ON THE ROAD. As a part of after sales scheme, the program is a complimentary service to all new Skoda customers for the first two years.
Effective March 2011 onwards, the program attempts to offer a hassle free journey and zero worries ownership experience to Skoda customers for a period of two years effective from the date of sale. The program will assist customers and occupants in case of breakdown eventualities irrespective of the fact where the customer is located. Thus, whether the vehicle breakdown happens at home, on the roadside, on a highway or in a parking lot, the customer will get immediate assistance as a part of this program.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Thomas Kuehl, Board Member, Sales and Marketing, Skoda Auto India said that this program is a huge step for the company and will enhance ownership experience for its brand.
The standard program services include; Tele-Assist, Roadside Assistance, Flat batteries/ Battery Jump start, Emergency Fuel, Flat Tyres, Emergency Vehicle Asses and Lost Key Services, Towing/ Transportation, Emergency Message Relay, Accident Co-ordination. The premium services as a part of this program include Taxi, Accommodation, Rental Vehicle and Vehicle Recovery.
