Skoda Auto India has announced 2 limited period offers for the Skoda Rapid model range. According these schemes, company will provide smart offerings that ensure the ownership experience is affordable and hassle free.
The first scheme which is applied on Skoda Rapid Ambition variant range with manual transmission in diesel & petrol variants called ‘bundle package offer’, a service assurance, a finance offering, along with Road Side assistance program and extended warranty. The 4 year period maintenance scheme will be made available at a notional price of Rs. 8, 000/- and is aimed at providing customers an enhanced ownership experience at an affordable cost.
In addition to the offer on the Ambition trim, Skoda will also offer a finance scheme across the Rapid model range for the manual transmission variants and Petrol automatic variant at a rate of 7.99% for a period of 3, 4 or 5 years as per customer preference. Skoda Auto India will provide these finance offerings through Volkswagen Financial services (VWFS).
The offers are valid till 28th February 2015 and bookings made at Skoda dealerships only.
Last year Skoda added the new 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox (diesel) with few cosmetic enhancements under the Elegance Black Package while the 1.6-litre petrol motor continues unchanged with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The same 1.5-litre diesel engine is now localized at Volkswagen India premises in Chakan, Pune plant and the same engine is using in VW Vento model.
