Maruti Suzuki has announced a new variant ZXI+ Automatic with Maruti Ciaz at Rs 10.19 lakh (ex-Delhi) which is more than Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-Delhi) extra on the Ciaz ZXI+ manual transmission. The new variant is available with 4-speed Automatic gearbox, and this same transmission was available in the VXi+ and ZXi variants only. It will compete against the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid.
This ZXI + variant is the advance version of ZXI variant with certain new features like Maruti’s Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system, 16-inch alloy wheels , navigation system, voice command feature, projector headlamps, Intelligent Key (Push Start/Stop), keyless entry, chrome door handles, leather seat upholstery and leather wrapped steering wheel.
In-terms of Safety features, the car is loaded with Dual Airbags for Driver and front passenger, ABS, Seat Belt Pre Tensioner & Force Limiters, Driver Seat Belt Reminder Buzzer, front Fog Lamp, Rear Defogger, Auto Day/Night IRVM, Reverse Parking Sensor, Reverse Parking Camera, Security Alarm and Engine Immobilizer, automatic air-conditioner.
The Ciaz is powered by a 1.4-litre K-series petrol engine that can produce 68PS of power @ 6,000rpm and 130NM of torque @ 4,000rpm. This engine is capable to deliver an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.12 km/l.
