Jaguar has finally announced when and where they will launch the much awaited and over hyped entry level sports car, their F-Type. The announcement has brought an end to much speculation and the Indian owned-British car maker has revealed that the car will be showcased to the world at this year’s Paris Motor Show to be held on September 27th 2012. The F-Type is a convertible model and an entry level sports car from Jaguar that is placed below the XKR. The car will come with a variety of engine models such as a V6 3.0-liter unit with 335bhp or a higher output of 375bhp. There will also be a larger engine variant with a supercharged V8 5.0-liter unit. Along with these engine variants they will be mated to an 8-speed auto gearbox and will also have an engine start/stop system. The F-Type is slated to be a very affordable supercar than will compete with the entry level Porsche vehicles but with much better power outputs.
