Japanese car maker Mitsubishi has been disappearing from the Indian roads due to the lack of variation in their range, actually we can say the main reason is due to Small and Midrange cars in its range. So finally Mitsubishi has now announced to release five new vehicles brand in India but it will be implemented by 2016.
Company confirmed entry of its Mirage hatchback to compete with Hyundai i10 and the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio. The Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback internationally uses a 1.2 L petrol engine to generate 77 hp of power, mated with 5-Speed Manual and CVT (Automatic) transmission.
The second model in Midrange segment called Mitsubishi Attrage to compete with Honda Amaze and Maruti Swift Dzire. And other model would be midrange and Executive range SUVs model. The company claims the Most Fuel Efficient Sedan in Industry and internationally it is available in 1.2 litre, 12 Valve in-line 3, DOHC, MIVEC producing 80 PS of power and 106 Nm of torque, mated with CVT (Automatic) and 5-Speed Manual transmission.
The company announced in media to launch five models in Indian market with production at HM’s Chennai plant. Hopefully the Mitsubishi will re-enter and get its fame through in the Indian market soon.
