Mercedes-Benz India is going to launch its entry-level SUV GLA on 30th of September in both petrol and diesel engine option. The car will stand against with Audi Q3 and BMW X1, priced tag likely to be between Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 38 lakh which will be import from Germany.
The SUV GLA would be available in 2.0-litre petrol engine that produce 181bhp power and 300Nm of torque while the diesel engine will be 2,143 cc turbocharged with an estimated 134 bhp of power and 300 Nm of maximum torque. The ground clearance has been raised 183 mm in India but It would not have an all-wheel drive. Both the petrol and diesel engines will be mated to 7G-DCT automatic transmission with a dual clutch setup.
