Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of the Swift hatchback in India namely the Swift XDI, an upgraded version of the basic variant Swift LDI. The new version of the car model has been priced at Rs 6,67,000 (On-road Jaipur).
The new limited edition Swift XDI features front fog lamps, side indicators in the rear view side mirrors, rear parking sensors and wheel covers in terms of exteriors. The additions in the interiors of the car model include tilt adjustable steering, new leather seat covers, front power windows, illuminated door sills and a double din audio system.
The new version of the hatchback has been priced about Rs 40,000 higher than the LDI variant due to the various additions in terms of accessories and features.
The Swift hatchback competes with the likes of the newly launched Hyundai Grand i10, the Hyundai i20 premium hatchback, the Chevrolet Sail U-VA and the Ford Figo.
