The new Maruti Celerio hatchback is going to display at Auto Expo 2014 and expected to launch in February first week. It will replace the A-Star and Zen Estilo models. The company has announced bookings open for Maruti Celerio and test drives for the buyers across the country also making it popular through daily newspaper. Maruti Celerio official website revealed and claimed 23.1 kmpl ARAI tested certified mileage.
According to media the new Suzuki Celerio will be powered by 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder K-Series petrol engine that delivers 67 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 90Nm of maximum torque at 3,500rpm. The Maruti Celerio will be mated with a new Semi automatic – the Auto Gear Shift tech transmission and also available in 5-speed Manual transmission. It will be available in three variant: the base variant Lxi, mid variant Vxi and top-end variant will be Zxi. The Celerio is expected price tag of Rs 3.8 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi and Rs 4.9 lakh for the top of the version.
