Indian car maker, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd sold 19,211 units in August 2008 as compared to 18,269 units in the same period last year registering growth of 5 per cent.
The company exported 890 units in August 2008 as against 831 units in the same period last year.
Mahindra sold 18,321 units in August 2008 as against 17,438 units in the same period last year registering growth of 5 per cent. The sales comprised of 11,731 utility vehicles (Scorpio and Bolero) and 1,464 units of sedan Logan
The company sold 92,490 units from January 2008 to August 2008 as against 82,328 units in the same period last year growing by 12 per cent.
