Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the British luxury auto brand owned by Tata Motors has opened a showroom in the city of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The company currently has 15 showrooms in India and plans to open more in the fiscal 2012-13.
Commenting on the development Mr. Rohit Suri Head – Premier Car Division (Jaguar & Land Rover-India) stated that the company expects favorable sales from the state of Madhya Pradesh. Selling 2289 cars in 2011-12, the company’s sales grew by 157 percent in comparison to its sales in 2010-11, he added. Jaguar Land Rover’s cars lie in the price range of Rs 35,00,000 to Rs 90,00,000.
The new JLR dealership in Indore has been taken up by the automobile dealers Sanghi Bros.
