    Hyundai Verna CX variant launched at Rs. 8.07 lakh

    Hyundai India has launches the Verna CX variant with both diesel and petrol engine to compete with newly launched Honda City. The Hyundai Verna CX petrol version is available with 1.4-litre engine that delivers 105bhp of power and 138Nm of maximum torque while the 1.4-litre diesel engine has 89 bhp of power and 224Nm of torque.

    The CX will be available for Rs. 8.07 lakh for 1.4- petrol and Rs. 9.28 lakh for diesel versions respectively.

    The erstwhile 1.4 EX, 1.6 EX AT and 1.6 SX (O) AT (VTVT) has been discontinued while the 1.6 SX petrol now comes with an Automatic transmission, 1.6 SX (O) equipped with side + curtain airbags and speed-sensing auto-door lock again, 1.6 SX loses the Supervision Cluster and the Rheostat and 1.6 EX equipped with all features of 1.4 CX, excluding diamond-cut alloy wheels and electric folding ORVM’s.
