Hyundai India has silently added two limited edition variants in its popular small hatchback called Hyundai Eon Sports Edition at starting priced Rs. 3.88 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This Sports edition variant is available in its 0.8-lire Era+ and Magna+ variants. The variant is now stands out with enhanced styling and more equipment with Sport edition tag.
Hyundai Eon Sports Edition extra features:
Basically Sports edition of Hyundai Eon gets three new features over the existing variants of Era+ and Magna+, like the body side moulding and sporty roof rails, a touchscreen infotainment system and a 6.2-inch unit with Phone Link which offers smartphone-based navigation. This Sports Edition is available only in Polar White colour.

Currently Hyundai Eon is available in thirteen variants excluding Sports Edition, ten variants are available in 0.8-litre 3-cylinder iRDE petrol engine, namely D-Lite, D-Lite+ , Dlite+ (O), ERA+, ERA+ (O), Magna+, Magna+ (O), Sportz, ERA+ LPG, ERA+ (O) LPG while the other three variants – ERA+, Magna (O) and Magna (O) (opt) are available in 1.0-litre Kappa 3-cylinder petrol engine.
The 0.8-litre petrol engine can generates 56 PS of power at 5500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The 1.0-litre Kappa engine has capacity to produce 69 PS of power at 6200 rpm and 94 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 0.8-litre engine a ARAI certified fuel mileage of 21.1 Km/Lt and there are no mechanical changes in the Eon Sports edition.
