Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) Ltd., leading manufacturer of premium cars in India reported sales of 3,455 units during the month of June 2011 as against 2,334 units sold during May 2011 posing a growth of 48%.
Commenting on the company’s sales volumes Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing said, “We have been working with production constraints for the last few months. However, recovery efforts are going on to increasingly meet the demand which has helped us improve our sales in June 2011. Sales of our largest selling model Honda City is back on an upswing, posting a growth of 53% from last month”.
The company sold 4,595 units in June 2010.
