Honda Car India has finally declared to launch the Mobilio MPV 7-seater vehicle which will be available in both petrol and diesel engines option and an automatic transmission would be in petrol variant as an option. The Honda Mobilio is likely to price in Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and when launched, the car will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia in India.
Honda Mobilio technical:
The diesel engine of Honda Mobilio has 1.5 liters I-DTEC engine that will generate 100PS of power and 200 Nm of maximum torque expected to deliver 26 kmpl certified mileage. The Mobilio length measures 4386 mm, width 1683mm, height 1603mm and wheelbase2650 mm. The diesel powered Mobilio is expected to be the hot seller as over petrol variant. The cost of the diesel versions of the Mobilio will be higher than the petrol powered models.
The petrol engine expected will be in 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine with variable valve timing technology that will generate 119PS of power and 145 Nm of maximum torque expected to deliver 18 kmpl certified mileage. The petrol version of Mobilio is mainly in the city and drive for less than 1000 kilometers per month.

Company said to media that the Mobilio will be value for money price tag and it might be the third big success for Honda after the Honda Amaze and the City sedans models. Honda is mostly known for more space in the inside and it is larger than the Maruti Ertiga and the larger dimensions and Honda’s space maximizing interior design may make the MPV much more spacious than the Ertiga.
The official booking has not started yet but some Honda dealers have started accepting the booking with amount of Rs. 51,000.
