In Milan, Italy, Honda staged a presentation in front of the world’s press, showcasing some of its important new models for 2013.
One of those was the CBR500R, which was ridden into the venue last night by Honda World Superbike rider Jonathan Rea.
Jonathan also unveiled the racing version of the CBR500R that will be the machine used in the 2013 European Junior Cup – an eight-round series for racers aged 14-19 that will run along side European rounds of the World Superbike championship.

Jonathan and his 2013 Honda World Superbike team-mate, Leon Haslam, will be testing their own CBRs tomorrow and Thursday at Aragon in Spain before another test at Jerez at the end of November.
