The Honda CB Shine becomes the largest selling 125 cc category motorcycle in India. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) has rolled out the 30th lakh unit of Honda CB Shine 125cc motorcycle since its launched in April 2006 and produces from the Tapukara, Rajasthan and Narsapura, Karnataka plants.
Honda CB Shine is not only no. 1 in India 125cc bike, but also globally also CB Shine become no. 1 selling motorcycle.
The CB Shine is the first 125ccc motorcycle in India to achieve this feat. It reached its first 10 lakh units in 54 months on October 2010, and the next 10 lakh units achieved in just 25 months and the last million an even faster in 16 months. It was sold 94,300 units last month to get best ever monthly performance and the 7.40 lakh units sold for the fiscal year and achieved the best performance for a fiscal also.
