Japanese car maker Honda Siel Cars India reported a 19.14 per cent fall in its August sales at 3,945 units as against 4,879 units in the same month a year ago.
The sales figures included 2,763 units of sedan City ZX, 588 units of premium sedan Civic, 460 units of luxury sedan Accord and 129 units of SUV CR-V.
The recently launched sedan Civic Hybrid, which costs Rs 21.50 lakhs (Ex Showroom Delhi) registered sales of 5 units. The cumulative sales for the period between January and August, 2008 stood at 40,808 units as against 41,638 units in the same period last year.
