American automobile major Ford’s Indian subsidiary, Ford India has posted sales figures of 10,155 units for the month of November 2012. The sales for the month are marginally higher than the carmaker’s sales of 10,091 units in the same month in 2011.

The carmaker witnessed a decline of 28.57 percent in its domestic car sales from 8,322 units in November 2011 to 5,944 units in November 2012. However, the car exports of the automaker grew more than two folds to 4,211 units in November 2012 from 1,769 units in the same month in 2011, boosting the total sales for a marginal growth in the month.

Mr. Vinay Piparsania Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) Ford India commented on the sales for November 2012 stating that the company is seeing an improvement in customer sentiments in the face of unfavorable market conditions.
