Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has launched convertible Huracan RWD Spyder in India at priced Rs. 3.45 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new supercar is the droptop version of Lamborghini Huracan RWD coupe model which was launched in 2015 in India. This is the second convertible Huracan in India after the Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 which was introduced 2016.

This Huracan RWD Spyder has no mechanical changes, it is carrying the same Huracan LP 580-2 Coupe engine which is powered by the 5.2 litre V10 naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 579 PS of power @ 8,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch LDF (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) automatic transmission included rear wheel drive system with rear mechanical self-locking differential.

The chassis material is Hybrid in aluminum & carbon fiber while the body is Aluminum and synthetic material. Opening roof is soft top in thermo and audio insulating fabric electrically operated up to 50 km/h. The Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 Spyder can achieve a top speed of 319 kmph and can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds. The supercar is loaded with powerful stopping courtesy 365 mm front disc brakes and 356 mm rear disc brakes which have Electronic Stability Control (Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control System integrated).

Huracan LP580-2 Spyder has 19-inch silver casted rims with 245/35 section tyre up front and 305/35 section tyre at the rear alloy wheels. It has also three driving modes which change the steering response, comfort level of the suspension and dampers. It starts in ‘Corsa’ mode which is tuned for public roads and depending on the driving situation, driver can select ‘Strada’ that offers a more aggressive response or select ‘Sport’ mode which is best suited on the race track.
