Audi India, the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer Audi has opened its second showroom in the state of Rajasthan at Udaipur. This is the carmaker’s second dealer showroom in the state after the first one in Jaipur.
Spread across an area of 10,000 square feet, the new showroom will house the entire range of Audi cars in the carmaker’s Indian car portfolio. Also a part of the new facility will be an Audi shop where customers can buy Audi’s unique merchandise. The service unit of the facility is capable of handling five cars in a single shift and is further supported by body and paint shops to enable a one stop solution for the Audi customers.
Commenting on the opening of the new showroom, Mr. Joe King Head Audi India stated that Audi is the only German luxury automaker to have opened 2 showrooms in Rajasthan. He added that the initiative will be further spruced up with innovative schemes and superior after sales service.
The German carmaker is in the process of expanding its dealership network with a target of opening 40 showrooms in India by the end of 2014.
