Renault India, the Indian arm of the French automobile manufacturer Renault has registered an eightfold increase in its sales for the month of March 2013 selling 8,232 units in the month in comparison to 1,005 units sold in the same month in 2012.
Commenting on the sales performance of the company, Mr. Sumit Sawhney Executive Director Marketing & Sales Renault India stated that the month of March has been a successful one despite challenging market conditions.
The sales figures were led by the Duster compact SUV with sales of 6,313 units, followed by the Scala sedan with 1,026 units, the Pulse hatchback with 541 units and the Koleos compact SUV with 15 units.
