Ford India, the Indian subsidiary of the American automobile manufacturer Ford has initiated the ‘Quick Lane’ service through the newly opened ‘Quick Lane’ service centers to cater to customers with time constraints.

The first of the ‘Quick Lane’ service centers has been opened by the automaker at Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. The concept of these service centers is that the customers may avail various vehicle maintenance and repair services without prior appointment. These include services such as oil and filter change, repair of brake systems and suspension systems, tune-ups and various alignments.

The newly opened service center at Bangalore has a capacity of servicing 35 cars on a daily basis. Among other benefits are the extended operating hours during weekdays and Saturdays. Mr. John Cooper Executive Director Customer Service Operations Ford Asia Pacific and Africa stated that the new service concept will offer hassle free and appointment free services to the customers.

Currently, the carmaker operates through 241 sales and service outlets spread across 127 cities in India. By mid-2015, the company expects to expand the dealership network to 500.
