Ford has extended its Fiesta range by launching the new Style series starting at £9,995 to maintain its status as the bestselling car in Britain. The company expects to woo its customers with the appearance of the car by extending the body colour to all external parts of the car such as front and rear bumpers, door handles, rear spoiler and power heated door mirror housings. The new model features numerous additional specifications such as Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS), Home Safe headlights, Front, side and knee airbags, Intelligent Protection System (IPS) and Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).

These are complimented by other impressive features like:

    • 15″ wheels with six-spoke covers
    • Ford Easy Fuel System
    • Electrically-operated front windows with ‘one shot’ up and down
    • Anti-trap technology on driver’s side
    • Driver’s seat height adjustment
    • Remote control central double locking
    • CD player with remote audio controls and AUX sockets

Moreover, the entry level price has been slashed for the Studio series to £9,495 which is less than the existing entry model by £500. Like the Style series, this series also features body colour rear spoiler, front and rear bumpers and tailgate handle as well as tinted glass. Other impressive features include Twin chamber halogen reflector headlights with black bezel and Reach-and-rake steering wheel adjustment.

Ford Fiesta has created for itself a niche in the industry with its range of engines that emit less than 130g/km of CO2 and are exempt from vehicle excise duty during their first year. The engines in the Fiesta line-up include TDCi diesel engines of 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre, petrol engines of 1.25-litre 60PS and 82PS and the low CO2 emitting 1.6-litre TDCi 95PS ECOnetic engine with 95g/km CO2 emissions.
