BEN the automotive industry charity in conjuction with Car Dealer Magazine will be heading to the home of Ferrari, Maranello for Bangers4BEN MkIV. This will take place on Saturday 8 October through to Tuesday 11 October.
This year’s event will see 33 teams make a trip to Italy over an exciting four days to raise vital funds for BEN. The rules are that each team will buy a car for £500 or under which are then sold at a special auction with all the proceeds being donated to BEN.
Kelly Neal, BEN’s Events Manager said, “Bangers4BEN is growing every year and this year is no exception. All the teams are busily preparing their cars and themselves for the best themed and fancy dress award. As we head down to the home of the Ferrari, Maranello, our thanks must go to Ferrari North Europe Ltd for inviting us to their museum and to The AA for once again providing our teams with roadside support and all they need to travel through Europe. With the array of cars we have to sell after the event and the additional fundraising the team are undertaking it looks like it’s going to be a fundraising record!
