Peugeot announces prices for the eagerly awaited new 208, starting from only £9,995 (for the 3 door VTi 68bhp Access model).The new Peugeot 208 presents a great opportunity in a pivotal segment of the UK market and is available on Peugeot’s innovative ‘Just Add Fuel’ programme, which has recently been enhanced to be available to drivers from 21 years.
Eight engines are available on 208, five petrol, including the new generation 3-cylinder engines, and three diesel; 208 also represents significant CO2, MPG and fiscal benefits across the range.
Available in both 3 and 5 door body style variants, 208 is the embodiment of an exciting new design direction for Peugeot, taking many styling cues directly from the breathtaking SR1 Concept Car. 208 combines an impressively ergonomic interior design with a lighter, more compact frame and delivers a uniquely intuitive and pleasurable driving experience.
The UK range is offered in five trim levels – Access, Access+, Active, Allure and Feline – with an exciting ‘Ice Velvet’ Limited Edition, available from launch.
Specification also plays a key role with the 208 story and key equipment has been integrated across the range to ensure class leading specification, including the new touchscreen which will be standard on 80% of sales.
