Hyundai Motor India launched its compact family sedan Hyundai Xcent for the Indian market in both petrol and diesel engine option with priced range between 4.66 lakh to 7.38 lakhs. Basically it is the sedan version of its most popular hatchback model i10, like Maruti Swift sedan version is Maruti Dzire.
The Xcent 1.1 litre advanced 2nd generation U2 CRDi diesel generates 72PS of power @ 4,000rpm and 18.4 kgm of maximum torque @ 1,750- 2,500rpm with ARAI certified mileage of 24.4kmpl.
The The Xcent all-aluminum 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine comes with Dual VTVT technology that generates 83PS of power @ 6,000rpm and 11.6 kgm of maximum torque at @ 4,000rpm with ARAI certified mileage of 19.1kmpl.
The both engines are offers the 5-speed manual transmission, but the petrol is offering choice of 4- speed Automatic Transmission also.
