Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Bajaj Discover 125 ST model due to poor sales performance in the Indian market. It was launched in May 2012 at priced tag Rs. 53,730 ex-Showroom Pune.
The Bajaj Discover 125 ST was available with 124.6 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, air-cooled engine with 13 PS of power @ 9,000 rpm and 1.1 kgm of torque @7,000 rpm. The 125 ST mated with 5-speed gearbox with top-speed of 105 kmph and company claimed mileage of 77.1 km/l. It was integrated with front disc brake 200 mm and 130 mm rear drum brake.
Bajaj Discover family available in 100cc, 100 M, 100 T, 125cc, 125 T and the new 125cc which was launched last month. The Discover brand has contributes the most to Bajaj’s volumes: total 72,213 Discovers were sold in March 2014, as compared to 71,683 in February 2014.
