    2014 new Nissan Sunny launched at 6.99 lakhs

    Nissan India has launched refreshed version of the 2014 new Nissan Sunny sedan in both petrol and diesel engine option at starting price Rs 6.99 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The vehicle is available in eight variant options: the XE and XL for both petrol and diesel engine while the XV variant is exclusive to the diesel variant and two optional premium packs are also available for the diesel XV trim. Features included a driver airbag, EBD and ABS as standard with all variants.

    The vehicle competes against newly launched Ford Fiesta, Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Fiat Linea models.

    2014 new Nissan Sunny technical:

    The 2014 new Sunny has 1.5-litre HR15 petrol engine and 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine. The petrol engine is available both transmission 5-speed manual and Xtronic CVT automatic, while the diesel version is available only in 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine will give ARAI certified 16.95kmpl fuel efficiency for manual transmission and and Automatic CVT will give 17.97kmpl respectively. The diesel engine claim 22.71kmpl certified mileage. Both the petrol and diesel engines has been reworked for added efficiency and performance.

    • Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD)
    • Brake assist
    • Driver airbag
    • Passenger airbag for xv grade
    • Side airbags as optional on the xv premium

    It will be available six colours option with three new shades: Pearl White, Deep Grey and Nightshade. The sedan will also be available in Onyx Black, Bronze Grey and Blade Silver.
