The Premium cars manufacturer Honda Cars India launched the all new Honda Amaze with exterior styling, interiors and several new Age of features updates. It is becomes the first petrol car in its class to offer advanced Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) in India. The Amaze customers can choose Dual SRS Airbags from base variant, so we can say the front driver and passenger airbags are as a standard features in all variants. Also company announced that the Dual SRS Airbags will become standard offering across Honda line-up, including current models by April 2017.
The new Amaze gets newly designed Front Bumper and Dual Chrome Front Grill, New Classy Rear Combination Lights, New ORVMs with turn indicators, new alloy wheels which are giving a new look to the car.
Inside the cabin, it gets the all new One Class above Interior Design, dual tone futuristic cockpit styled Instrument Panel with Silver accents, new 3D Speedometer design with Multi Information Display (MID) and the newly designed premium seat fabric.
New Honda Amaze technical details
The Honda Amaze 2016 is powered by same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. The petrol engine can generate a maximum power output of 88Ps @ 6000rpm and 109Nm @ 4500rpm for Manual transmission and 90PS for CVT (Automatic) transmission at 6000rpm and 110NM of torque at 4800rpm. The CVT petrol variant can deliver ARAI certified mileage of 18.1 kmpl while the manual variant offers 17.8 kmpl.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine is capable to produce 100PS of power @ 3600rpm and 200Nm of torque @ 1750rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with same25.8 kmpl of mileage.

The new Honda Amaze is available in 4 grades in both petrol and Diesel engine – E, S, SX and VX in Manual Transmission. Additionally, the CVT Transmission will be available only with S and VX variants of petrol engine. The New Amaze will be available in 7 choices of colors – New and Exclusive Bluish Titanium Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Taffeta White and Orchid White Pearl.
