Ford India has been finally launched Ford Mustang GT for the Indian market at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), and begin accepting orders in Delhi and Mumbai initially. The Mustang GT is priced at Rs. 65 lakhs (ex-Showroom New Delhi). Ford has brought us the sixth generation Mustang GT equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 under the hood.

The India-spec version Ford Mustang GT fastback is powered by 4,951cc (5.0-litre) V8 petrol engine that develops 401 PS of power at 6500+-50 rpm and 515 Nm of torque at 4250+-50 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a 6-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifters.
The 4-seater Mustang GT measure 4784mm in length, 2080 mm (with mirrors) in width, 1391mm in height and it has 2720mm of wheelbase.
