Maruti Suzuki India has launched its first LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) Super Carry in India at priced Rs. 4.1 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently the vehicle will be available only in three cities – Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Ludhiana. This LCV comes with bigger loading area, better safety features and company’s reliability with assurance of unmatched after-sales support. The Maruti Suzuki has invested about Rs. 300 crores towards the development of Super Carry.

Super Carry is powered by the 793 cc light weight and compact, 2-cylinder diesel engine that generates 32.6 Ps of power at 3500 rpm and 75 Nm of maximum torque at 2000 rpm, mated with the 5-speed manual transmission. The company claim to deliver a better mileage of 22.07 kmpl and maximum speed of 80 Kmph.
The Super Carry is measure 3800mm in length, 1562mm in width, 1868 mm in height, 2110 mm of wheelbase with 160mm of ground clearance and 740 kg of payload capacity.

It vehicle is equipped with a lighter steering wheel for comfortable driving with less fatigue and also cabin is designed to take care of the driver’s convenience like flat and extended co-passenger seat with thick glass fibre heat shield for better heat insulation and NVH, well positioned gear lever, ergonomically placed pedals etc.
